Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 18 Recap: The Girls Tell ALL
4/30/2014 6:21:31 AM
Last week's Dance Moms reunion show brought us up to date on where Kelly, Cathy and Abby Lee Miller stand at the present time. Now it's the girls' turn.
There's apparently "no moms allowed" on Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 18 ... meaning that they should just rename the show Dance. Just kidding.
Maddie and Chloe got most of the questions, and it's clear that while they compete against one another (and have since age four), Chloe and Maddie are close.
Asked if Abby Lee Miller yells at her, Maddie gets upset when Abby says she can do this or that and she can't; Maddie also basically lives at the studio.
Payton joins Chloe and Nia to talk about being constantly kicked off the team only to return; Payton thinks Abby uses her to tell a story ... a very weird story.
Nevertheless, Payton doesn't really care because she wants to be on the team. That's what set her mom off, though, as you know if you watch Dance Moms online.
Other highlights from part two of the reunion ...
- Asia and McKenzie, brought on stage, say they're pals.
- Mackenzie's favorite part of Dance Moms is the singing.
- Asia thinks she may become Katy Perry in two years.
- Chloe, tearing up, says Brooke always gets the boys.
- Kendall, Maddie and Chloe call all the moms crazy.
- Vivi-Anne likes Cathy as her mom first and foremost.
Until the next competition or Abby Lee fight ...
Olivia Munn and Joel Kinnaman: It's Over!
4/30/2014 6:11:18 AM
It is all over for Olivia Munn and Joel Kinnaman.
The couple of two years split a few months ago, sources have confirmed to Us Weekly, with an insider saying "distance" played a major role in the break-up.
"They ended things a few months ago, but both seem fine," a mole tells the tabloid. "He's back filming in Toronto and she's now in L.A. for good."
Kinnaman is best known for his role as Robocop and also for playing a detective on The Killing.
Munn, meanwhile, got her major break on The Daily Show and is now the best part of HBO's The Newsroom.
As recently as February, the stars were seen together in New York, acting all sweet at a Knicks game. The actor then referred to Munn as a "hoot" and "a lot of fun" during an appearance on Today.
Munn's dating history include Brad Richards, Justin Timberlake and Chris Pine, so we're guessing she bounces back just fine in this case.
The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 8 Recap: Sonja Morgan is Losing it
4/30/2014 6:04:51 AM
Sonja Morgan brought the insanity on The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 8, even more than usual and exceeding her high standards.
It's hard to tell if Ramona Singer is secretly (or not so secretly) taking pleasure in Sonja's recent misfortunes, but her concern for Morgan may be legitimate.
Woman is acting straight up cray lately ... like whoa.
Every time Sonja rambles on and on about grandiose plans for toaster ovens, lingerie lines and what have you, she sounds more and more unhinged.
Ramona, of course, helps matters by informing everyone that Sonja's house is about to be sold out from underneath her. That's the mark of a great friend.
The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 8 ended up being a lot of drinking, eating and gossip, which in our case means celebrity gossip.
That's what these people are right now, for better or worse ... so when Ramona tosses a plate of food into the pool at a party, that's a good news story!
She also pulled back the peel-and-stick wallpaper in one of the rooms at a designer home showcase and tossed a glass of champagne in Kristen's face.
Standard operating procedure for Ramona.
As for Kristen, she has apparently made it her purpose in life to needle Singer, which you have to give her credit for. On execution, at least, she brings it.
Implying that Ramona is jealous of Sonja's 23-year-old boy toy, Taekman poked the bear like never before and the two were at odds from that point on.
Ramona did ask about boy toy Ben, which may or may not have caused him to stand up Sonja, who will just go find another team of interns, not to worry.
Meanwhile, Carole has big plans to remodel her apartment and turn her kitchen into an office, something crazy even by New York real estate standards.
If you watch The Real Housewives of New York City online this week, you'll also see a lot less Aviva, though she did try to get in the Sonja and Ramona mix.
She can't be completely tamed, after all.
The Voice Results: Who Made the Top Eight?
4/30/2014 5:46:41 AM
The Voice results show whittled down two artists from the Top 10 Tuesday with the help of America (and Twitter) to present us with our Top 8 on Tuesday.
After announcing that Gwen Stefani will join The Voice coaching panel next season along with Pharrell Williams, we got down to business last night:
As usual, Carson Daly announced the saved artists first, one by one, until the bottom three vote-getters remained onstage. Who would they be?
This week, the unlucky trio was Kat Perkins of Team Adam, Bria Kelly of Team Usher and Tess Boyer of Team Shakira, last week's Instant Save recipient.
In a new format unveiled last week, the bottom three then had to perform new songs to earn support they would need on Twitter to remain on the show.
Yeah, the format on this show can be a little ridiculous ... but we love it.
Kelly, the 18-year-old Virginia phenom who's performed with the likes of Miranda Lambert, kicked things off in leather pants singing "Crazy on You."
Up next was Boyer, a pre-law student and former NFL cheerleader, who delivered another impressive performance, this time singing "Who Knew."
Perkins, a Minneapolis rocker and nanny, delivered a commanding "Paris Ooh La La" that had Adam Levine on his feet and begging America to keep her.
"Typically when someone is in the bottom three the week after they tend to go home," her coach stated in a last-ditch plea to earn her the Instant Save.
"This girl deserves to go all the way. If you save this girl, to me it's obvious she's going to finally beat the odds by staying all the way 'til the end."
He may be right. America saved Perkins by a wide margin.
With Bria and Tess out, Adam and Blake have all three of their artists remaining in the Top 8, while Usher and Shakira are both down to just one each.
What do you think? Did America/Twitter get it right?
The-Dream: Wanted For Attack on Lydia Nam!
4/30/2014 5:34:20 AM
The-Dream allegedly punched, kicked, and strangled his pregnant ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam last April, though he insists that the allegations are bogus.
Police in New York are on the lookout for the music producer just the same, following their altercation at the Plaza Hotel, three months before Nam gave birth.
It's unclear what prompted the alleged attack and if Nam ever sought medical attention, but she didn't file a police report until November - six months later.
At that time, she described the alleged assault to the police.
Law enforcement sources say The-Dream (a.k.a. Terius Nash) is now wanted for questioning by authorities in connection with Lydia Nam's allegations.
So, if police find him, he'll be taken into custody on the spot.
The-Dream sources insist Nam is lying and that she is vengeful woman who's plotting to use this alleged crime as a way to extend her visa in the U.S.
Nam, who is Canadian, was also involved in a separate domestic violence incident involving The-Dream last June, but refused to press charges in that case.
Will Dream soon join our 2014 rogues' gallery? Stay tuned ...
