Kevin Hart to Mike Epps: Go Kill Yourself!
5/3/2014 2:22:07 PM
Thanks to the success of Ride Along, Kevin Hart is officially on the A-List.
But there's at least one person who doesn't think he belongs there.
Appearing on a Dallas radio show this week, Mike Epps was asked to name an overrated comedian.
"Kevin Hart," replied Epps. "In this business, sometimes marketing can be bigger than talent. This business is not about being funny, it's about being forced on people."
It's safe to say Hart didn't take well to this critique.
Here's a summary of what he wrote to Epps on Twitter in response to the diss:
- Just heard @TheRealMikeEpps called me "Overrated" on the radio this AM! I missed it bcuz I was on set "WORKING"do u remember what that is?
- Hey @TheRealMikeEpps why don't you do us all a favor and Kill your god damn self....Didn't you learn ur lesson from fucking with me last x.
- Don't talk 2 me until u start selling out ARENA'S @TheRealMikeEpps if ur shows aren't sellin & u need sum help maybe I will send out a TWEET.
- Oh one more thing @TheRealMikeEpps if you keep talking crazy I will book shows the same day as you in the same cities and shut yo shit down.
- That's called FLEXIN @TheRealMikeEpps ....I'm going to go take my OVERRATED ass back to WORK now, MY WORK HERE IS DONE BOOOOOOM!!!!
Well... okay then. Note to selves: Do NOT anger Kevin Hart.
Columbus Short Films Wife Tanee McCall in Violent Fight; Victim Shares Video
5/3/2014 2:11:08 PM
Embattled actor Columbus Short, who was quasi-fired from Scandal following his domestic violence arrest in February, has gone on the viral offensive against his wife.
He shot a video to show his estranged spouse, Tanee McCall, was the violent one in their relationship ... and this clip certainly doesn't hurt his argument.
Columbus Short was arrested for domestic violence for an incident at his house February 18, having been accused of assaulting his wife that night.
The next day, after Columbus bailed out of jail, he asked his friend Tilly Key to come over to his house to pick him up. At that point, Tanee went ballistic.
When she saw that Tilly was in the house, Tanee (on top) attacked; Tilly gave the video to TMZ to prove that Tanee is violent ... even threatening her life.
She feared for it, too. Tilly alleges that she suffered a concussion, a cervical sprain, multiple contusions, a lumbar sprain and lumbar strain as a result of this.
Tanee has filed for divorce and sought a protective order forcing Columbus (who was also arrested in an unrelated fight in March) out of the house.
She also claims he recently invaded and ransacked the home.
The two filed for divorce in 2013, but reconciled, only to find themselves in the midst of a heated divorce with criminal and legal ramifications once again.
Short said in a statement after leaving Scandal, "Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas."
"I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time."
You can always watch Scandal online at TV Fanatic to see Short at his best, as we hope all parties can resolve this ugliness sooner rather than later.
He doesn't need to end up in this gallery a second time ...
James Scott Quits Days of Our Lives After Smoking Hallucinogenics, Calls Soap Fans "F--king Idiots"
5/3/2014 1:36:38 PM
Days of Our Lives star James Scott has apparently quit the daytime show after smoking hallucinogenic drugs and having an epiphany of sorts ... seriously.
The popular, British leading man/villain on the soap opera for eight years went to Peru this spring, chilling with shamans and experimenting with substances.
He revealed this in an interview in which he called obsessed soap fans "fucking idiots" and revealed that, well, he won't be catering to them any longer.
James Scott says of his life-altering experience:
"I just got back from Peru. I spent six days in the jungles of Peru doing Ayahuasca with the shaman. It was the single most positive experience of my life."
"Ayahuasca is this hallucinogenic. I sat in a tent, in a hut, in the jungle, on the amazons with three shaman blowing tobacco smoke into my crown."
"Realigning my chakras and my energy, while I hallucinated for four to six hours ... I mean, this is all hard to explain. It's very spiritual and very interesting."
"This is a medicine that the people of South America have been using for years to have a relationship with a higher consciousness."
"It sounds wacky when you say it, but it was truly the most important thing I have ever done. I came back a very different person."
The Today show recently did a piece on LSD-like medicine (it's legal in Brazil) after Lindsay Lohan talked about drinking Ayahuasca tea after a miscarriage.
Rock star Sting wrote about trying Ayahuasca on a trip to Brazil, saying it "brought me close to something, something fearful and profound and deadly serious."
For James Scott, it just brought him out of the soap opera bubble, evidently. After going through that, he just can't go through with the daytime drama any longer.
At least until that spiritual buzz wears of.
Maybe he should've stuck with pot?
Ben Affleck: Banned from Blackjack Table in Vegas!
5/3/2014 12:31:28 PM
Apparently directing isn't the only thing Ben Affleck is very good at.
According to TMZ sources, the actor was given the boot from a blackjack table at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tuesday night because he was doing too darn well.
The security said, 'We have to stop you because you're too good,' " an insider adds to People.
Afflech was on a romantic getaway with wife Jennifer Gardner and was allegedly caught counting cards, which is not against the law. But it is frowned upon by all casinos.
The Oscar winner was not given the boot from the Hard Rock, it should be noted, only the blackjack table.
In a statement issued on last night night, the establishment made it clear:
"Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time."
Affleck is a well-known card shark. In 2001, he reportedly garnered $800,000 in blackjack winnings (at the Hard Rock no less) by playing three $20,000 blackjack hands at once.
